Dogs

Spotted this lab having a rest in the market stall aisle.

Took Kyro to Coton Countryside Park in the afternoon.  He was his usual keen self.  Walking through part of the meadow we came across young bulls.  Kyro was frightened and barked.   While OH was making sure they didn't approach I walked Kyro quickly away.   The last event I wanted was a stampede.  Unfortunately the nearest gate at the end of the footpath was locked with a chain.  I guess to prevent walkers leaving it open.  The little gate at the edge was unlocked except there was a a large circle of black mud and an edge of about 30cm next to a barbed wire fence.  Trying to keep myself on the barbed wire side and keep Kyro out of the mud would have been possible if Kyro hadn't other ideas.  He emerged with completely black feet. 8-€

I cleaned them in a rainwater puddle. And after walking on grass white feet reappeared.

In the enclosed dog park he encountered little Lula a small black and white whippet-collie cross.  They had a little run together but otherwise ignored each other.
