Hay Book festival
After several exciting excursions with our sat.nav we have arrived in Hay this evening - in the rain- and we are seated in our favourite eaterie , The Granary, about to partake of a Tibetan nut roast.
We are staying in a b/b which has some interesting, one might say, novel features, the bathroom is in fact the house utility room and it doesn't have a lock on the door nor does the door close and we have already been given a lesson on how to work the shower and they want to know in advance when we intend to wash because they have to turn the heating on and... well, you get the idea.
The bedroom is cosy, providing we take it in turns to stand up and no we wont bother to unpack because there really isnt anywhere to put things.
We are paying £80 a night.
But, surprise, surprise, it does have wi-fi.
