Gifts

End of the year (apart from those pesky exams) for my year 13’s and so I have received a couple of gift. The first was chocolate (always appreciated), the second was a smelly candle for those stressful days and the third was this bundle!

Safi coffee is the result of a young enterprise scheme project at school. Students who had visited Uganda on a school trip came back determined to help fundraisers for their counterparts in Uganda. Then the opportunity arose to get involved in Young Enterprise and through which began to import a little bit of coffee from Uganda, get it ground/processed in York and sell it, any profits to go back to Uganda. Well a few years down the line this is now a school volunteer project which sends around £10k a year in profits to a school in Uganda!
If you want sustainable and nice coffee check the name out:-) in the meantime I’ve already had my cup for the day :-))))
