Private bathing

Inclement weather germinated a trip to the tunnels and the private bathing beaches at Ilfracombe. All spruced up and very impressive.

No swimming for me as I cut a nice gash down most of the side of my little finger whilst digging a hole in Woolacombe beach yesterday. Great help from the friendly lifeguards who then sent me on to Ilfracombe where two lovely ladies excavated the gash with considerable force before sticking it all back together after extracting a promise to keep it straight and dry for 5 days...

Anyway, a great weekend with my lovely family who continue to generously tolerate my funny ways.

Perfect weather - even the rain today made it feel alright to be coming home.
