Sadness

A local police officer was killed in the line of duty. This memorial was set up in front of the police station. His police cruiser had been here for the last week, but has been removed for his funeral. Chaplains have been available at this site to deal with Peoples grief. I’m a little late with the picture and missed getting one with the cruiser, but even this mountain of flags, flowers, and black bunting, convey the deep sadness of this community.
