Aquilegia

It's been another sunny day with a slight chill in the breeze.  I spent the morning doing various chores and then after lunch headed to a fairly large garden centre with my husband.  We have a number of gaps in the back garden as several of the overgrown shrubs were removed last year and need to replace with different plants.  As we weren't sure what we wanted it took us some time browsing at the plants.  We bought a few and came back with a list of others to find more information about.  I took this shot of an Aquilegia while I was there.

This evening we have had a conversation with our daughter who is now settled into a room at the local hospital.  As she has her C section tomorrow she won't be able to eat from midnight so her husband is bringing in some extra supplies for her to have later tonight.  He will be sleeping in the room with her so will be there for the birth.  Very exciting.
