Buckingham Palace

It was Dot.T’s Gold DofE award ceremony at Buckingham Palace today and it was lovely. So much better in mostly sunshine too. It’s just 4.5 years late :-))

She met a few people she knew. And there were some interesting speakers too, like Jermaine Jenas and Ade Adepitan amongst others and the new Duke of Edinburgh obviously.

We then met Elbows for lunch and he was so distraught because he’d left his phone on the tube. I pointed out that not everyone has evil intent with a phone they find … and, as an answer to fervent prayers, it landed up being in the hands of a lovely French woman in Fulham so Dot.T and I crossed to south London to collect it, with both our feet in silly pain in silly heels. It was a bit of an adventure really. A charity shop then sorted her feet out and then, to top it all off nicely, there was an Oliver Bonas shop opposite Parson Green tube station and we’ve now bought her jewellery for her wedding day too.

MightyMouse had RE GCSE today.
