Bank holiday along the river

Just lovely to wake up to gorgeous sunny skies. Packed a picnic and walked over Teddington Lock along the river. It was buzzing with people, picnic blankets everywhere had to keep Belle on the lead. We got a little ferry boat across the river at Marble Hill Park. Zoe thought it was very funny having Belle on a boat. Jon took Zoe into the park and played while I sat in the sun, bliss!

Walked into Twickenham and stopped to look at the beautiful statues in York house. We got married at the church close by it was nice to see it, don't really go that way much. A nice surprise as we walked past the play park where the old swimming used to be, it had been developed into a lovely seating area with pretty plants. They have kept the old diving board which was made of concrete and finished the lawns so they look like swimming lines, really cool design.

Got home cooked a curry, now watching BGT, while Zoe's got the craft box out. She made this spectacular glasses, very Dame Edna.
