Last night Mr T got stuck again, so another call to rapid response and a different neighbour. She helped get Mr T on the stair lift but I decided to wait for rapid response even though that was an hour. I felt (rightly) that they needed to see it first hand. To be fair to the lady who came she was very good and got Mr T settled and he hardly moved all night (see extra).

Early this morning the duty OT rung and agreed that yes we needed an assisted lift. She was going to organise it, hopefully for today. She also wanted to assess upstairs as it's not great. I asked about Medequip moving the bed and chair downstairs for him. They will do that so I have cleared my desk out, moved the sofa there and the space is ready for Mr T. At the Ops request he has spent the day in bed as she doesn't want anyone to get hurt. So he has been so patient today and a late visit from Dave the Book so he has some company.
