Away And Fly An Octopus?

The main group of the Friday Night ‘Tiq Gatherers were on manoeuvres up in Kingussie hosted by the marvelous D & G with their lovely hospitality. The weather screamed ‘beach’ so we headed north up to Findhorn to take thesea air. We did a bit promenading along the beach path to take luncheon at the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club (if a BLT bagel could be called luncheon) after which we headed to the main beach for a wander but nobody suggested a paddle for although there was folk heading into the sea one could tell by their colour on when emerging that the water was not exactly at Caribbean temperatures. The weather was perfect for kite flying hence the airborne red octopus. We headed back to Kingussie with a bit more colour than we left and I’m fairly sure it was the sun not weather beaten. We got back to D & G’s for more food and drinks. All in all a cracking day with good friends what’s not to like.
