Wedding Bubbles

I've been to a wedding this evening!

One of the camera club members is an ex-wedding photographer and she put together a super presentation about her experiences. Only 30 minutes of talking and then it was hands on. She had organised use of the church next door to where we meet, with a bride, a groom, parents of the bride, a bridesmaid, a page boy, guests, confetti, and even a (pseudo) vicar!

It was a great evening, probably unique in our camera club history. It convinced me though that I would never have made it as a wedding photographer. She was very successful at it.

In the extra a full group photo, including a few camera club members who had made the effort and dressed up for the occasion. A motley crew!

There was cake afterwards too.

In other news the gardener has been here all afternoon. I had to contact the lavender supplier as only 14 of the 22 plants we ordered were OK. The others arrived in a pretty sad state, and didn't perk up at all with watering over the weekend. The supplier got back to us pretty quickly and are sending replacements. The 14 acceptable ones have been planted though, and should be OK.
