Golden Rain

On the way to the pool, passed this Laburnum tree (apparently also known as Golden Rain). Always a lovely sight.

Had to drop off an ebay parcel at an Evri shop. The convenience store in Westbourne had a notice on their door - they couldn’t accept parcels today. Went in to ask - they explained
they’d run out of delivery receipts, as they hadn’t been delivered. So therefore unable to accept parcels.

Never mind, there is a Tesco nearby …. Unbelievably same problem :(

Typically, was unable to find any way of communicating the problem to Evri (formerly the dreaded Hermes). I was about to call their Customer Service No - an 0900 - which stated using the mobile incurred a £6 connection charge. Tried a live chat - the Bot didn’t understand the problem and kept asking for a tracking number.

So I had my swim, then walked into the town centre – luckily, Tesco there was able to process the parcel. Was exhausted in the end.
