Beautiful morning
Body combat early at Porty then met outside by Dad, J and N for a wee toddle to Miros. As ever my dad had two courses, even for breakfast.. Cullen skink with a bacon and scrambled egg roll!?! The man’s a machine!
Took them both to Edinburgh airport to Green Motion where they were hiring a car to head up north or their annual Ecurie Ecosse Tour. Invite only, lots of incredible cars going for a jaunt through the Highlands. For over twenty years my dad organised it, this year he’s just there to speak and enjoy. His last Tour, at the age of 88 still quite a feat.
Hiring a car at Green Motion also a feat. Cheap is as cheap does and took two hours to drive away a Fiat 500 with a credit card hiccup and then a broken clutch. Sunburnt waiting outside trying to keep Papa calm!
Once they’d gone we headed back for a cracking walk along Porty, beach full of happy folk in the sun then to another favourite Alandas for tea and the papers.
