Power to the People

The view from the 'Bungalow' sitting room at 6.20am. Each of the four self-catering cottages has solar panels to provide electricity, while the pylon carries power across the National Grid from the nearby wind turbines.

Extra photo: Slightly down-market compared with the décor but my only opportunity to hang the 'patriotic bunting' was in our holiday let, over the settle, by the dining table. I made it for the Platinum Jubilee but it was never hung as we were travelling. Now waiting for another major event to use it again!
