Desperate Dan
Well, well, if it isn't Desperate Dan striding along the High Street of his home city, Dundee. He was a cartoon character in the weekly comic magazine The Dandy, which appeared between 1937 and 2013 and was published (of course) in Dundee. I used to be a regular reader. So it is Mono Monday with a theme of Modern. How is this modern? Statues of fictional characters may not be modern, but a statue of a cartoon character is. This one is even on Google Maps.
