A Monday in May

We had accumulated so much in the way of garden rubbish that we had to make a trip to the recycling centre today. 

Since we were in town, we decided to do some supermarket shopping. Somehow we ended going to Lidl, Sainsbury's and Morrisons before we managed to find everything on the list.

Not the most interesting of days, and  nothing jumped out and demanded to be blipped.  But when all else fails, there's always something in flower in May.

This isn't the showiest clematis in the garden, but it's the only one that is scented. It smells delicately of Johnson's Baby Powder.
