More Cake

Another typical bank holiday...it rained! Still we had two days of lovely sunshine on saturday and sunday so I think a third day would have been Too Much.


The eldest child stayed over, it was bad bad news for his car this morning, corrosion, so after a morning spent poring over small ads, a new car has been purchased, the old one scrapped, and minimal dents in his savings.


I decamped to the kitchen, popped a large gammon into the slow pot for Pulled BBQ Pork, and then made this chocolate cherry layer cake. There was some left but that has been bagged by the eldest as a snack to take home with him.
