Lisbon, Day 4

I think this is an Erythrina. I was fair taken by the colour as we entered the Tropical Botanic Garden in Belem, just outside of Lisbon. It was a peaceful oasis in a very busy spot, with hordes of peacocks, crumbling glasshouses overgrown with cactus, palm trees etc.
We relaxed here, digesting our Pasteis de Belem (wee custard tarts) washed down with McDonalds’ espressos.
