Skulking among the reeds

I don't often spot the heron in the Maxwell Park pond but there it was today. Hope he wasn't looking for something small and feathery for lunch.

I wasn't sure if there were any ducklings but on my second circuit I spotted them in an area where the reeds weren't too thick. There were six but there are only five in the photo.
