BEACH!!

For Katie, today has mainly been about the beach. She's had a FABULOUS time. We spent the morning together, all of us enjoying the sunshine. We walked, aided by cornettos, down to the beach and along the Foreshore. She chose some new sunglasses and we walked back again, this time on the sand. She looked for the donkey she rode last summer but he wasnt there. We headed back up town for me to find the bike and Katie to go off for some Granny-Grandad time.

They walked up to the other cliffs, and headed down part way where they stopped for a picnic. Katie ate a lot and also gathered grass and daisies in her bucket. She took these down to the beach and created a beautiful castle which was topped by the pretties she'd carefully stored. She did some paddling in the sea, some trying to put the sea in her puddle and they all built just a few more sandcastles. The tide then encouraged them further along the beach and it was all repeated. They had just walked all the way up the cliffs when I met them. She has thoroughly enjoyed so much beach time!!

We went to the beach, we had a picnic and we went to the toilet. And I went in the sea. It was a bit cold but I went back.
