Grey Heron

There were 4 heron over today! They all flew over at once. Two from the dovecote and 2 from the grass. This is the youngest female looking a bit of a state! She has been shedding the wing feather for about 4 days now. The extra is the "young one". Interesting to see the pecking order today. It seemed to go strictly by age with the youngest female at the bottom!
2 Crows were over as well. The young one followed me all the way to the exit but thankfully stopped there!
