A Peace of Tartan

Well now it isn't every day you are presented with a gift from His Holiness the Dalai Lama is it??

This is a World Peace Tartan scarf - produced here in Scotland by the office of HHDL. I was meeting with his representative today - I do live an interesting life - and was given this as a gift.

Having been lucky enough to see HHDL when he was in Scotland last year, I'd seen him and others receiving one of these - so it felt a wee bit special to have once placed around my shoulders in ceremonial fashion today. I'm incredibly touched and honoured.

An interesting Monday, without doubt!
