I nearly didn't take this in time. Except Berlin is an hour ahead of the UK, so did I make it by 27 seconds or just over an hour? Where does Blip think I am?

Blipsitential questions to one side, we had another nice day, today. We did some work, finished bang on time, and then took the train to Berlin Hbf, followed by a tram out along Invalidenstraße as far as Bergstraße, where we disembarked and found a table outside a nice little bar while we waited for our friend John to arrive.

In fact, John was present at the inception of this trip, when we met up with him to see Hannah Peel in London. We'd mentioned going to the Vermeer exhibition, and he'd mentioned the Superbooth 23 synthesiser expo, which is here in Berlin tomorrow, and, well, here we all are.

Except we weren't yet, as John was running a little late, so the Minx and I walked along and grabbed the table that he had booked for us all at Katz Orange, and had a drink while we waited for him.

It wasn't a long wait, and he was on his characteristic cheery form when he arrived, so we had a joyful evening of good food and company.

And once John and I had firmed up our plans for meeting in the morning, the Minx and I set off back home via Berlin Hbf, where I took today's Blip just before midnight (German time).
