Crofters Arms

A fine calm day, a dull morning, a rainy afternoon, and then a beautiful sunny evening.  Still light after 10pm now.

A lazy Sunday morning, I finally got going.  Met friend Julie for walkies.  Me, peerie Brian and Julie headed to the Ollaberry Teas in the afternoon.  Big Brian and Madeline popped by for a Sunday roast for tea.  More walkies with Sammy this evening, and with the fine sunshine, stopped off for a pint at the Scalloway Hotel.  Feet up now.

After the Teas, we enjoyed a quick runaround the village.  This old pub has recently come on the market again.  It closed it's doors 20 odd years ago, and has been used as a house in recent times.  It would be great to see it open as a pub again, folk said it was a great place for a pint and laugh.  I was only in it as a bairn, when we nipped in with granddad Mitchell.  The Crofters Arms, Main Street, Ollaberry.
