Self seeded

This lupin, which we are going to take up to Tain, is self-seeded in one of the balcony pots. It will be interesting to see how far it will go.

Behind it is a dianthus which I got from Quirky plants a little while ago as insta-colour, which is doing very well indeed.

It's been another pretty quiet day. We did a supermarket shop which was hideously expensive, despite containing no alcohol. I managed a full hour on the peloton bike, which has left me fairly tired - well "relaxed" - and I've done some other bits and pieces in the work department and finished the non-fiction book I've been reading, about Hannah Arendt. Very hard going....
