I Have Nothing To Say
My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,
Sunday came and went without incident. Caro got up just after noon. I made brekky. We watched some telly and cats bossed us about.
Feefs called. She hasn't been enjoying her job as much as she hoped. "It occurred to me today that this is me now. This is the life I chose," she said sadly.
She's been having issues with a woman she works alongside. From listening to the conversations, it sounds like this woman is one of those bitter, "Well no-one helped ME so I'm not going to help YOU," types. She likes to stand on the sidelines and criticise.
Caro offered sage advice that this woman was probably threatened by Feefs and hence trying to undermine her confidence.
"It's ironic isn't it?" I said afterward. "Feefs doesn't have a problem dealing with the dead, it's the living that are the problem."
Caro went back to looking for cars. "I'm consumed by it," she said. "I just want it to be over and to get a car." I told her we'd seen some right here in Paraparaumu and it didn't have to be perfect.
She nodded. And mulled.
And that was it. A quiet Sunday at the end of a quiet weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

p.s. Here are some pictures of Caro with Punky in his "baby dragon" pose.
