A cake with a smile

Last weekend I had to cancel plans for a family friend/neighbour to join us to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, so instead she popped round this afternoon, bringing Jewel the Jack Russell with her. No sign of the predicted sun, but it was just about warm enough for us to sit in the garden for cake and a cuppa.
