Standing to Attention

We’ve had a fine day here. A walk in the morning, then I planted broccoli and chard and covered them with a hooped net thingy. Next it was marigolds and nasturtiums, then I put the two acers I got yesterday in pots. Did a bit of weeding and managed to lose my trowel! It will turn up.
Read a while in the afternoon and hung the washing up. Read some more then hoovered, dusted and washed the floors.
After that Geordie and I went for a stroll. Met Duncan and his collies in the park, so Geordie wanted to play. I let him loose then realised I was too terrified when they were running around at a rate of knots, so sat down on the grass so they couldn’t knock me over. The grass was damp so that was a bad idea, my fear stopped play unfortunately.
