Up bright and early for my next appointment. I had to try to keep busy before I went. I am very thankful, it was good news, the cancer has all been removed with good margins, so no further surgery and no chemo needed. Just the radiotherapy to come. I was a bit overcome with relief. We went out for lunch to the Shepherds House. But when I got back home I cried loads, big gulpy sobs, not like in the films. It is like I have my body back. I couldn’t cry before today as I was so nervous of what might be ahead.
Harry arrived home at midnight, so I got up for hugs.
