Carnaby's Black Cockatoo and a blipmeet
We met up with Donna Wanna today for a blipmeet and did a Tiki tour of Perth. In fact we concentrated on Kings Park where you could easily spend a week. It would seem that most of Perth also had that view as there were lots of family groups enjoying mothers day picnicking on the lush green lawns and finding a park was like winning the lottery. The main is a Carnaby's black cockatoo, an endangered species. A huge mob flew past, this one had a gumnut he had saved for later on.
Perth put on a fabulous day and thank you DW for showing us around and being our guide.
So a few extras:
* The view of Perth city from Kings Park.
* The boab tree with a sneaky shot of DW
* A white cheeked honeyeater
* Red wattle bird on banksia
* Gum blossom
* Brave swimmers at Cottesloe Beach
