ONCE SO GREEN

These foot hills are turning brown, after dazzling us for months, with their
various shades of velvety green. All those atmospheric rivers of rain rewarded us
with scenic wonders. Now, sadly, the
show is almost over.

The good news is the severe water restrictions have been lifted, so I
can be a bit more generous with my
flowers. They will carry on blooming until the real heat arrives in July.

For now, Spring will be here for awhile.
