The Lost
of a throw-away society.
D. regularly picks up the trash/rubbish that collects along the highway clearing a mile or two at a time. Yesterday, and again this morning, she went to a popular local sledding hill and this is just part of the haul. The discarded and broken sledding trays she left in the van. The gloves are mostly for the left hand (?). Socks? The owner of the iPhone was contacted after it took a little charge. The hats are washed and will be given to a local charity thrift store. The candle is a bit of a mystery. Many of the items obviously belong to children.
On an altogether dangerous and puzzling note just a few weeks ago D. found a loaded pistol (.22) of which the local sheriff's office took charge.
Not so silly Saturday. We played music too.
