Heather thorns

Tried to take a large shot of a beautiful clump of heather and stepped back (with my crocs on) only to feel a very sharp pain as several heather thorns entered my foot.

Much jumping, swearing and kicking later I decided to drop the original idea and take one of the thorns themselves to shown just how spiky the little bleeders are.

New lesson learnt today. Never wear your crocs into a tangle of heather
