Green legs

These green legs belong to the moorhen who was making itself heard on the local river when we went for a walk this afternoon. 
We planted a new tree this morning hopefully blocking out a chimney on a neighbouring house when it grows. 
A beautiful sunny day today, what a difference to Tuesday when we had such heavy rain.
