A Bit of Macro

Yesterday finished late for us when we couldn't get hold of L's Mom on the phone.  Finally reached her only for her to say she had fallen over by the edge of the bed and couldn't get up.  We went round straight away but also called the paramedics because something similar has happened a couple of times before and we knew we wouldn't be able to pick her up.

Fortunately the paramedics arrived within an hour, but we were somewhat perplexed to see two very slight young ladies emerge from the ambulance.  We shouldn't have doubted them, suffice to say they were very professional and had just the right equipment to get her off the floor and then down the stairs and into the ambulance.  Sadly, she will be spending a few days in hospital while they investigate the cause of her fall.

I spent part of today scarifying and cutting the lawns and then relaxed in the afternoon sunshine.  I also got the macro lens out to take a few photographs of plants in the garden.
