Up and out very early morning for a walk at Crummock Water this morning.  Was very pleased to spot a Goosander with her eight chicks.  Spent ages just watching them.  The chicks kept taking it in turns to climb onto her back for a ride.  I hope they all survive.  Oh and the colours in the water are reflections from Mellbreak.   Afterwards we walked up Brackenthwaite Hows to look at the bluebells.  Another in extras.
