Mum walked and I hobbled to the hospice cafe this afternoon.  A nice bright place to sit  squirm, move, fidget, perch, for a coffee/tea and cake. 

The gel is still not having any effect; one thing I do notice is that an hour or so after applying it I get drowsy, that's helpful for sleeping at night, so it's not all lost.
