Pheasants Eye

This is probably the last daffodil to flower - narcissus poeticus.  Delightful.
The tree peony has suffered significant winter damage.  I have pruned all the lifeless branches but there was little left though plenty of growth coming from the bottom.  It has lost it's garden presence for the moment at least.
