looking back

Lovely day in the sun exploring some woods around the loch. Looked back as we were leaving and could see where we had been which is the main photo, very quiet. The native woodland from the inside is in the extra, a little too much deer grazing and we disturbed 4 at lunchtime but looking beautiful with all the woodland flowers out..
Green veined white and speckled wood butterflies flying in the sun, lots of birds including Cuckoo, woodpecker, nuthatch, siskin, goldcrest, chiffchaff, willow warbler and wren all singing. I do like the woods at this time of year.
