Drymen to Rowardennan via Balmaha.   Being purists we retraced our steps to the finishing point of yesterday.  Our landlady tried to encourage all comers to take a shortcut along the rerouted Rob Roy Way.  I ask you.

Today: Raven, sedge warbler, whitethroat, 8 common sandpipers, Reed bunting, goldfinch, cuckoo, greenfinch,  chaffinch, Robin, swallow, dunnock,  songthrush, chiffchaff, willow warbler and, bird of the day, Wood Warbler.
