A blast of colour.....

....greeted us when we were treated to lunch by a friend visiting the village.  This is the Exmoor Forest Inn in Simonsbath.  The tulips were just stunning, there's another one in Extras.  Very nice lunch but why, oh why, do they insist in putting everything in a bun (sorry - brioche) and then serve chips with it too.  Carb overload.  I brought my bun home for supper....!  Lovely sunny afternoon and the drive over Exmoor was gorgeous.
