First and last …

… day at school. And what a day.

I basically spent all of this morning getting ready for this afternoon - as the leavers party at our house was only pulled together on Sunday because no one else offered to host one.

So we had 60 odd Year 13s here, all with their graffitied shirts and bottles of drink. There was table tennis and pool played the whole time and groups of teenagers everywhere. We had a few house rules which were wonderfully respected but:
- they really did drink a lot, and
- we had a blocked toilet. I got that lovely task of unblocking it. I had asked for no one to go upstairs so they all queued for the loo downstairs, and I guess the cistern didn’t have time to fill between flushes and … !!!

It was a disgusting job as NoaNoa had tried to unblock it himself before I knew about it. So there was ‘slurry’ all over the floor too. :-((

But, the kids were ok. They ate everything I provided and drank everything I provided plus everything they brought. So no half empty bottles on clear up. Every bottle, bowl, tin and plate was empty!!!!

Glad we did it though. :-)) Love NoaNoa and it meant so much to him.
