Chania (Crete), Greece

A beautiful morning spent wandering the narrow lanes in the town of Chania.  The temperature is so lovely compared with the blistering heat of Arabia and Egypt, and it was very pleasant to wander in the historic center of town and soak up both the history and the modern-day bustling tourist vibe.

So many pretty colors in the buildings and flowering vines tumbling down the walls of the houses, inviting blue chairs and tables outside the tavernas beside the old Venetian harbour, and ancient Minoan ruins recently discovered and excavated.

Extra:  A carriage horse who clearly was channeling his hero Fabio from the 1990's!
