47 kms down, only 53 to go!

I was hoping to see the leaders in the UltraTrail 100 pass our front gate but after watching the grandchildren play various sports, we only arrived in time to see the midfield runners. Here’s #430 who’s over 2 hours behind the leaders but he doesn’t seem overly concerned about the situation (I doubt if the leaders would have given me a smile)! He looks in good shape, as opposed to some of the other runners.
About 30 minutes later, the extra is of #610 as she emerges from the Mitchell’s Creek crossing - she looks in equally good shape. Runners were still straggling past on Nellies Glen Rd when we left the farm 2 hours later.
