Vintage and veterans

This sums up the biggest part of the day nicely. Vintage and Veterans Day at the flying club. Really an indulgence for the lovely Mr EAnn but I've had a fine time too.
The flying display was exhilarating - remind me never ever ever to consider going for a joy ride in one of those aerobatic flights though.
We also persuaded our friend Bob to bring his pride and joy a 1952 red MG along to the car exhibition. He had a great time too.
What with a bit of gardening this morning and dinner with friends still to look forward to, we old things are counting this a successful day.
