Mounds of Merriment

I didn't get to post these photos the last day of our adventure.  This picture, this scene (and these extras)...this is our delight: to hike among untrammeled monoliths and monuments where few have gone before.

In the last extra, what the inexperienced desert hiker does not know...between here and there, between our cliff edge and the far one, lay wide washes, shallow ditches, boulder ridden crevices, and sudden precipices. We leave the far side for exploring another day.
