Marjorie's ramblings

Heading for the bluebell woods

This morning I went with Ann (from down the village and sings in the choir with me) to see the bluebells at Wark. They are just about at their best so the fact that it was a grey, cold day did not spoil the sight of them.

We also enjoyed seeing other wild flowers and the trees in blossom.

The path is close to the river, so you have the pleasure of walking through bluebells as the river races by.

I was home just after 11 when Julie (carer) was ready to go.

I felt more tired today than during the two days after our disturbed night. I dozed off during the afternoon to be woken by the doorbell for a delivery.

Margret (next door) still has her twin brother, Frank, staying. He is a railway enthusiast and has written great tomes about the railways in the Indian subcontinent. M discovered that another neighbour loves railways too, so the two men spent all afternoon discussing their interest.
