Carol has had a tough time since she retired and finally life has sorted itself out so I suggested she joins me as a volunteer at Arts Together. She started today. Belinda, the hub manager, described us as quality volunteers. They needed more and we turn up. Just like busses.

I cooked again. The kitchen isn't well equipped and I wash most things before I use them.  It's definitely cleaner when I leave. I cooked vegetarian chilli with rice, peas and crusty bread followed by rhubarb crumble and custard. The rhubarb from the garden.

Carol enjoyed herself. I had to remind myself she's not my manager and the members do not have dementia!

Clive is building a new seating area in the garden. 

Hetty and I met Phil and Mandy for a walk when I got home.  

Pub plans with Tessa, Simon and Mark this evening.
