Herdwick

A lovely spring day.  Warm and sunny.  We drove into the lakes and with several destinations in mind.  We ended up parking at White Moss and walking around Rydal water.  Instead of the normal circuit, we detoured to Rydal Hall for coffee.  On the way back to the car, I spotted this Herdy munching away.  The wild garlic at Rydal Hall was magnificent (see extra) and I liked Rydal Beck too. 

A great morning.  Spring has really sprung and the colours were very vibrant.
