Coming soon

Lots of Alliums popping up in the garden, this, in a pot in the back garden, is one of the first to start opening.  There is a taller one next to it( but too high to take them together) which is further open but I did like this one  emerging from its sheath. The blue in the background are forget me nots not bluebells. 

A rather grey and cool day today, no rain but no sun either, think we are under cloud that has drifted inland from the east coast, hope it lifts for the weekend.  

Book group this morning after the Tittle Tattle Tea shop. It was the latest Graham Norton book I had picked up for free in Bingley Station. I quite enjoyed it even though it was a bit improbable. It didn’t receive universal acclaim. The critics and those in the know seemed to think his earlier books were better so I might try one of those.

Out with the Ladies who travelled tonight. We’re going to try a curry at the Sizzling Lounge in Bingley. Not been before and we don’t often go for spicy food as one of our number doesn’t like it but she is away this weekend.
